Week two of T25 is done and DONE!
Here’s what the week looked like –
Monday – Cardio + 2 mile walk
Tuesday – Total Body Circuit
Wednesday – Speed 1.0
Thursday – Cardio
Friday – Lower Focus + Ab Intervals
Saturday – Stretch + Rest
Sunday – Walking the streets of NYC!
*For a more detailed explanation of what each workout entrails, please read my week one post.
While the workouts were still pretty tough this week, I felt more comfortable and was able to push myself a little more. I can feel my legs getting stronger!
There was, however, one missing component this week – good sleep! By Monday, my cold was pretty much gone, but when I went to bed at night, I couldn’t stop coughing. Because I didn’t want to ruin Vishnu’s sleep, who had a 4:00 am wake up call, I slept on the couch. Same story on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Needless to say, I didn’t sleep that well this week, and this effected my energy levels first thing in the morning. Instead of getting up at 5:15 am, I was pressing snooze and sleeping in until 6:30 am. This meant that I didn’t have time to get out for a run, but because T25 workouts are done and over with in under 30 minutes, I was able to fit those in just fine. That’s the beauty of this program! And I’m hoping to pick back up with my weekday runs going forward.
As far as my measurements are concerned, I think there was a small change in some areas. I’m not 100% sure if I’m measuring in the exact same places I did last week, so I’m hesitant to share. AND it’s only been one week. I’m a huge believer that change takes time, so I feel little silly talking about inches (well, way less than inches) lost. When I see more significant change, I’ll be sure to share!
So all in all week two was a success. Bring it on week 3!
Just curious – how many hours of sleep do you average every night? I need at least 7 to be functional. Boy, I’m getting old!
And just in case you’re interested in my weekly recaps…
