Yesterday was a funny day. I had lots of time to work on Awarify (and there’s lots to work on!), but I felt a little off all day. I was being moody with myself, and I didn’t feel like me.

At the end of the day, I objectively looked at all the things I did and got down on myself. I said things like -Is this even what you’re meant to be doing? Maybe you should quit Awarify and go back to corporate. Yadda, yadda, yadda.

I was ready to quit on a bad day (thanks to my friend Chitra for reminding me of this saying). And that’s not what we do!

If you’re going to quit, quit on a good day. Quit when you’re on a high. Quit when your vision is finally unfolding.

And then sure enough, I figured out why I felt so blah. I didn’t get great sleep the night before (had intense cramping around 3 am). I was truly exhausted.

So last night, instead of trying to cram in all the things between 8-9:30 pm, I got in bed, read for about 20 minutes, and went to sleep around 8:30. And guess what…I woke up refreshed and ready to take on the day.

Do I have all the things figured out? No, but I’m not being moody with myself. Ha!

Bottom line – Don’t quit on a bad day!
