Currently Reading

Y’all! I just started Glucose Revolution and I’m LOVING it! The way it’s written is so easy to understand and fun to read. So many lightbulb moments, and I’m not even half way through. More to come!

Eating

I’ve been focused on adding more protein to my meals so the majority of my meals look the same from a day-to-day perspective. That said, I’ve been eating lots of eggs, tofu, edamame, Greek yogurt, peanut butter, etc.

Watching

Nothing ATM, however, we recently finished Sex Education. I actually really loved this show and how the various storylines unfolded. The last season was so good (even though, like Vishnu said, they packed 2 seasons worth of content into one). Highly recommend!

Looking Forward To

The holidays! I’m really looking forward to taking more breaks from my laptop and phone and enjoying quality time with the kids. Kaiden has 2.5 weeks off this year, and I have a few fun surprises planned for him. Mila will also be home for a little over a week, and I can’t wait to spend more time with her too!

More immediately, I’m looking forward to a date night this Saturday. Vishnu and I haven’t been out to eat just the two of us in a long time, and the restaurant we’re going to is a popular one.

Sweating To

I’m still on that Peloton bandwagon of 3 strength workouts a week + 2 cycling workouts + a few stretches. I’ve also been getting anywhere from 8-10k steps daily. Lots of movement happening!

Listening To

Mel Robbins – LOVE HER!

The Growth Equation – a new podcast for me, but I love Brad Stulberg and everything he shares on IG. Looking forward to this one!

Loving

Atlanta weather! It’s cooling down but it’s not freezing just yet. I love this time of year. Cozy – socks, slippers, sweatshirts, sweatpants – see a theme?!

Planning

2024 vacations. This stuff honestly gives me a little anxiety but because of how Vishnu’s time off works, we need to be forward thinking when it comes to our vacations. Lots planned for 2024, starting with my birthday trip in January (all I know is where we’re going to Mexico!).

Can’t Believe

As cliche as it is, I can’t believe how fast this year went by. In. A. Flash.

Also how do we have a 6.5 year old and a 2 year old?! Time is a crazy thing when you have kids!

Feeling

Hopeful. Because what’s the alternative at this point?
