This was not the post I had typed out, but I decided to delete it and share something lighter today. There’s enough heaviness elsewhere.
I’m really starting to get into a groove with my skincare and makeup routines. I love the products I use, they really work for and with my skin (I think), and they’re fun to use. Wins all around.
With that, I wanted to share four new makeup products that I use regularly in my routine.
Tarte Hydroflex Serum Foundation
I used to be a matte foundation girl, and now I only pick products that 1. showcase a little bit of my natural skin and 2. add to my/create a glow. The Tarte Hydroflex Serum Foundation is hydrating and goes on smoothly with just your fingers. I only need two drops to get the job done – medium coverage that last all day pretty much!
Elf No Budge Shadow Stick
Y’all! If nothing else, you need to try the Elf Cosmetics No Budge Shadow Stick. I use the color Rose Gold, and it’s so easy to apply. It also looks natural ish and gives your eyelids a subtle glow. ANDDDD…it’s only $5! This is one product that I will keep in my makeup bag forever!
Glow Sculpt Multi-Use Cream Highlighting Blush
I randomly picked up Saie Beauty’s Cream Highlighting Blush in Mauveglow a few months ago and never looked back. I’m really into cream products now because I find that powder ones settle in my fine lines all the crevices of my face. Also, if I’m looking for glow, cream is the way to go IMO. I’ve never found a blush I love as much as this one, and it doesn’t hurt that you can also use it as an eyeshadow too. I’m usually not a fan of shimmer in my face products, and while this blush does appear to be shimmery, it doesn’t apply that way. It truly gives you that pinched cheek glow! LOVE this one!
Sun Melt Natural Cream Bronzer
Once I fall in love with a brand, it takes a lot to pull me away! I’ve been looking for a new bronzer after my Ilia one shattered, and this time I wanted to try a cream one. I’ve never used a cream bronzer before, so I was a little intimidated at first. BUT this cream bronzer by Saie Beauty in the shade Medium Bronze is so so so easy to apply. It melts into your skin leaving the warmest glow. It’s super lightweight but gets the job done. Highly recommend this for anyone who wants a bit more color without any blotchiness at all.
