I’ve been looking forward to today (and next week) for a while now. My organisation is hosting a Global Conference next week in Singapore, and the prep for this one event has been insane. Things are finally slowing down, and next week should be a breeze (*knock on wood*). I CAN’T WAIT!
With that being said, I’m in a chatty mood, so let’s chit chat!
I finally got my act together and finished A Lesson Before Dying and am currently reading See Me by Nicholas Sparks. It’s been a minute since one of his books has made its way on to my Kindle, and when I learned he has two new books out, I downloaded this one right away. It’s really good so far, and in typical Sparks style, a little cliche and predictable as well.
A few posts ago, I mentioned how I’m looking forward to Fall because it’s officially bootie season. Check out the cute pair I bought at Target. LOVE! I’m still on the hunt for a gray pair and maybe a flat pair as well. Can never have enough booties (Vishnu would likely disagree!).
I’m so excited for next weekend because guess who’s back…back again…and bringing a friend. ROSHNI! Her and her husband Samir are flying up on Friday night and spending the weekend with us. As you may recall, visits from Roshni equal good food, lots of laughter, and so many fun memories. Can’t wait!
I’m working on a special project that I’m so excited to share with all of you! Not quite sure when that will be, but I’m working hard to make it sooner than later. 🙂 🙂 🙂 Sorry for the vague blogging but just had to share!
I’ve been using this Trish McEvoy bronzer in the shade Golden for a couple of months now and love it so much. I dust a little bit all over my face to finish off my look and love how it gives my skin the perfect sun kissed glow. This is definitely one of my must use/go to products now!
And finally, it’s my BIL’s birthday today!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY, NIEL!
A few good articles from around the web…
In a world where mindfulness is truly rare, this article made me smile!
Should vs. Must – which one do you tend to choose?
Taslim’s writing is beautiful and thought-provoking. This post is no different.
For all of my writer’s out there!
Yes to all of these Laws of Mindfulness.
And that’s enough chit chat from me for one day! Happy weekend!
Your turn – what’s going on in your world?

I can’t wait to hear what ever it is you’re building or creating and can finally share with us! BOOTIES ARE GREAT! Sounds like you have a lot going on, but a lot of fun things going on which is great! My world is…busy! Photo sessions, Instagram foodie meetup with Detroit foodies, and getting ready fro Hawaii!!

Trish bronzer looks good, similar to Nars’ Laguna. That’s the one I use.. I know i love bronzer, gives you that bronzy glow. 🙂
Happy Weekend!
