Am I the only one who feels like 2015 literally flew by?  I know I say that every year, but I really mean it this time!  I’m looking forward to the rest of November and December, so I’d appreciate time slowing down a little.

I’ll in Atlanta with my family for Thanksgiving, I’m going back to London for a week in December, my sister’s coming to visit the week of Christmas, and we’ll back in Atlanta the week of New Year’s.  Can’t wait!

Anyways, more on all of that later.  Let’s get to this week’s three things.

3 Things Thursday Badge

(1) Spectre

Vishnu’s a HUGE James Bond fan.  I think we watched the trailer for Spectre the minute it came out!  When my manager mentioned that she saw the movie this past weekend and loved it, I went ahead and purchased tickets for me and Vishnu to go on Saturday.  And not just any tickets…IMAX tickets!  Wife of the year over here (ha)!

(2) Nude nail polish

Don’t get me wrong, I love a dark purple polish as much as the next girl.  And I know that the fall/winter seasons call for deep rich colors.  HOWEVER, I’ve been doing my own nails since June (ahem…toe nail fiasco…ahem), and nude colors just work out better for me for a couple of reasons.  They’re more forgiving, and when the color starts to wear off, it’s not as obvious.

My favorite nude polish is the Essie polish in Au Natural.  It’s the perfect sheer, beige nude shade.  LOVE!

(3) Daylight savings time

So I totally didn’t think it would take a toll on me, but this whole dark at 5:30 pm is driving me crazy.  I hate it!  The one silver lining is that it’s light out by 6:30 am which means I can run outside without having a heat stroke.

I hear it’s dark by 3:30 in Chicago.  HELLLLLLLLP MEEEEEEEEE!!!

    1. I’ve never lived somewhere where it’s been cold + dark out super early. HELP ME!

And you crossed a huge thing off your list this weekend – go D!

    1. LOL! I know, I know!

I think that’s what frustrates me the most – it’s dark when you get to work and it’s dark when you get home. Blah!

  1. Gosh, I really hate the time change. I dread it every year. I do tend to feel an increase in my depressive tendencies and definitely anxiety during this time of year. The body just needs that Vitamin D! Especially since it got dark around 6 in Brazil too, so this year has felt like the year of no light, haha. I can’t imagine it getting dark at 3:30! That’s crazy!

  2. The new Bond movie looks good, if I ever make it to the theatre! We used to go so often before we had kids lol. And I’m totally with you on the nude nail polish. I actually don’t paint my finger nails that often because I don’t like how it looks when the color starts coming off, so my choice is definitely nude. I like to go crazy on the toes 😉 P.s. Totally dislike the super dark evenings!! Have a great thursday!

  3. I kind of find the dark evenings cozy. Maybe I’m just really lazy and find it’s a great excuse to go to bed early with a book. Haha! And my blue nail polish on my fingersnails is chipping right now. Wish I had worn nude instead! 🙂 Fun post – thanks for sharing your thoughts!

  4. I really dislike this time change thing…why can we not just maintain the same time all year round like Arizona??

It gets dark here around 4:45 and it’s only November. I fear the next few months!
