I love to read.  If I could, I would stay in bed all day long and get lost in a good book.  But unfortunately, that’s not possible.  However, I do plan to sneak in as many “I’m reading right now, please leave me alone” moments as I can this summer…hopefully at the beach!

So to kick off summer 2015, I’m sharing my reading list as it currently stands.  I hope this inspires you to start your own list AND share with me!

I have to mention both my friend Ankita and my cousin Bijal because I’m always texting back and forth with them about new books and what they’re reading.  It’s like I have my own personal book club!

So without further ado, here is my 2015 summer reading list!

  1. Great list! I I’m definitely curious about the new Judy Blume and Harper Lee books! I’m working my way through a stack of books I brought with me too Brazil. I know they’re heavy and take up space, but I couldn’t help it. Right now I’m reading the Brief and Wondrous Life of Oscar Wo, and it’s great! Up next I’m thinking either On the Road or Devil in the White City. I’m also reading Price & Prejudice (again) and a couple of blog/writing nonfiction books on my Kindle.

    1. I’m super excited to start both of those books! And I’ll check out your recs as well! Can never have enough books to read!

And there is no shame in having actual books! Even though I mostly use my Kindle these days, I still love the feeling of an actual book. Makes the whole process a little more enjoyable!

  2. What a great list! I’m loving Liane Moriarty and JoJo Moyes (I read Me Before You and finishing One Plus One). I got the Judy Blume book in a PopSugar box. I’m also working on
Essentialism: The Disciplined Pursuit of Less, after your recommendation, and loving it! You should put I Am Pilgrim by Terry Hayes on your list- WOW!

    1. Oh so glad you are enjoying Essentialism. I still think about that book from time to time! And I’ll check out I Am Pilgrim – excited!

  3. Yesss, I love reading lists! I’ve heard good things about a few of these but I haven’t read any of them. I just started reading 1984 and it’s… kind of a drag. My book club book for this month is The Shock of the Fall so fingers crossed that it’s better than 1984 🙂
