Whenever someone walks into our apartment and compliments how it’s decorated, I have to give all credit to Vishnu. While I’m good at giving input and sharing my opinion, I honestly have zero design sense. Vishnu, on the other hand, has an eye for all that stuff! In fact, if he wasn’t already on his way to becoming a doctor, I’m 100% certain he’d be an architect. I’m also pretty sure he has our future home built, designed, and ready to go…in his head of course!
So when I was approached by Minted, an online stationary store powered by a global community of designers, to select a piece of artwork for our home, I knew I had to consult with Vishnu before I settled on a design.
Just for kicks, I went through and picked a few that stood out to me. Later that night, I asked Vishnu to help me select one that suited both our tastes. Of course, we had a slight difference of opinion but eventually settled on a few designs that appealed to both of us.
As an aside, I just want to note that this process took us almost an hour. The art collection on Minted is amazing…and huge! There are so many unique pieces that appeal to everyone from travel lovers to food lovers.
Now we’re stuck again and need you to help us narrow down the perfect piece of artwork for our home!
To help us out, tell me which design you like in the comments section.
A:
C:
D:
So, which of these stands out to you – A, B, C, D, or E?
And because you guys are taking a minute to help me out, I promise to repay you in a future post (HINT: there’s an awesome giveaway on the horizon!).
Have a great Monday!
Disclosure: I received Minted credit in exchange for writing this post. However, (as always) all opinions are my own.
m leaning more towards E but again it all depends upon the overall decor. (this is coming from an architect’s gf :P)

Love the colors of E 🙂
I like D – that way home will always be with you no matter where you end up. Plus the color palette is neutral so you can make it work for years to come.

I love E. Every time I look at it I see a new design from oceans to mountains. Minted looks like an awesome place to buy art – thank you for sharing!

Hey Parita, I think maybe A. It wld be a reminder of one of your passions/interests- blogging and photography. 🙂 it’d look great I think, on your wall but maybe not as a focus piece but just like blending in if you will. ( if I was an architect / interior designer I wld probably do a much better job of explaining it. Lol) my two cents however- go with A. 🙂 xx
My vote is for E. Reminds me of the beautiful Miami sunrises/sunsets and evokes positive energy. I think it goes nicely with your theme of connectivity since the colors blend and work so well together. I wasn’t familiar with Minted but they have cool stuff! Happy Monday 🙂
I vote for E for all the beautiful colors and how they come together 🙂
I’m going with C, just because of its simplicity!
i like E the best
I like E!
I vote for D.. It always makes me smile when I read how excited you are to head back home to Atlanta for any length of time. I think a map of Georgia would be a great way to carry a reminder of home with you no matter where you go. 🙂
I’m not so knowledgeable when it comes to art but I vote E- love the colour combination and how much vibrance the painting exudes.

Hmmm…I was kind of thinking C but I think that would be totally dependent on where you are planning on putting it. But I just love the feel of it, and the satisifaction of a cup well-drained! 🙂

Welp. I’m a photog, so I’m obviously going with the camera. I love having a little bit of whimsy! I’m the decorator in our operation, but REB whole-heartedly loves the aesthetic I’m going for in our home. If we lived closer..pssh. Girl, I’d be your interior decorator for sure!
I love the map! It will always remind you of home 🙂
I really like C, D, and E for all different reasons:
C — This one evokes feelings of a cozy morning or afternoon and could be incorporated seamlessly with any existing color scheme, decor, etc
D — This would look so awesome with a DIY frame with some meaningful words about family
E — This one is so vibrant – it would be a great statement piece especially in a room with a lot of neutral colors
Hope you’re doing great!! 😀
