I’m stealing this little favorites survey from Brittany because I’m a sucker for these things. Annnnnd it’s Friday…might as well do something different!
Name your favorite…
Person – Vishnu…he’s knows my crazy and still loves me!
Color – Royal Blue (although by looking in my closet you’d think it was gray or black)!
Food – Anything my mom makes. I don’t know how she does it but everything she makes tastes good (except when she tries to “Indianify” baked goods).
Smell – I love the smell of rain.
Book – A Thousand Splendid Suns and Charlotte’s Web
Movie – Aladdin, The Sandlot, Love Actually, Now and Then, and Ghost
Time of day – When Vishnu comes home from work or when I get home and he’s already there (cheesy but true!).
Day of Week – Saturday is my all-time favorite but I also don’t mind Wednesday.
Things to do when bored – Scroll through Instagram, bake, bother Vishnu.
Celebrity – I don’t necessarily have a favorite celeb, but I really like Jessica Alba and what she’s done with The Honest Company. She may be a horrible actress but she’s doing some great things for the world!
Drink – I’m going to assume this means alcoholic drink. In that case, I love mojitos, sangria, or a good glass of wine.
TV Show – I don’t think I’ll ever get sick of Friends! Some current favorites include House of Cards and The Big Bang Theory.
Fruit – There is always room for berries and mangoes.
Vegetable – If I had to choose just one, it would be sweet potatoes.
Store/shop – Banana Republic, Ann Taylor, Express, and Trader Joe’s (haha).
Workout – RUNNING!
Quote – “Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming “woo hoo – what a ride!”
Potato chip flavor – Barbecue.
Meal of the day – Hands down…breakfast! And not because it’s super innovative. In fact, breakfast is usually the same thing every day. However, I love it because of the routine I’ve created around it. And let’s be honest, the promise of breakfast is one of the main reasons I get out of bed in the morning!
Ice cream flavor – Coffee Oreo. SOOOOOOOOO good!
Season – Fall. The prettiest time of the year.
Dessert – Chocolate anything. If it has chocolate in it, you better believe I’m at least trying it…if not eating the whole thing.
Life hack – Not the most original hack but Vishnu and I re-purposed two different Ikea bookshelves to be a TV stand and a shoe rack. Saved us a lot of $$$!
HAPPY FRIDAY!
What’s your favorite quote? Life hack?

I didn’t even notice that until I went back and read my answers again! 🙂 Have a great weekend, Liz!
I love Indian food… but Indian desserts can be nasty. LOL!
That’s one of my favorite quotes too. 🙂

I’m not a fan of Indian desserts either. There are a few I like but that’s only because they involve some kind of creamy cheesy component.
Coffee Oreo?? That exists?? I want…yum!! I tried watching House of Cards last week but I just couldn’t get into it..maybe I ought to give it another try!

It most certainly does! SO GOOD!
And give HoC a chance – it’s so good!
I actually nearly spat out water on my screen when I read how your mum tries to Indianfy baked goods….oh that would be amazing/horrifying to see….
