A. Attached or Single? Attached with a capital A!
B. Best friend? If I had to choose one person (not including my husband), it would be my sissy. She’s seen the best of me and the worst of me and loves me just the same.
C. Cake or Pie? Cake, preferably with lots of chocolate incorporated into the mix.
D. Day of choice? Friday. How can you not LOVE the day that signifies the end of a work week and the beginning of the weekend. Saturday comes in at a close second though.
E. Essential Item? Chapstick, iPhone, wedding rings.
F. Favorite color? Blue.
G. Gummy bears or worms? Neither. I’m not a gummy person. It’s a texture thing.
H. Home town? Even though Atlanta is home, Pawtucket, Rhode Island is my home town. It’s where I was born and raised for the first 14 years of my life! A little history lesson – Pawtucket is the home of the Slater Mill, the first fully mechanized cotton-spinning mill in America. How interesting, huh?!
I. Favorite indulgence? Rich, chocolaty desserts of any kind. The more chocolaty the better!
J. January or July? January. Not only is it my birth month (woo!), but it brings with it the opportunity to start the year with a clean slate. Love that.
K. Kids? None yet!
L. Life isn’t complete without? The people I love, laughter, and good food.
M. Marriage date? June 30th!
N. Number of brothers/sisters? 1 little sister.
O. Oranges or Apples? Apples. Probably because of the apple + PB combo.
P. Phobias? Entomophobia – the fear of insects. Our trip to India (see R below) should be interesting!
Q. Quotes? “If there ever comes a day when we can’t be together, keep me in your heart, I’ll stay there forever.” -A.A. Milne
R. Reasons to smile? It’s all about the little things for me – it’s Friday, Vishnu’s supposed to get home early from work today, the weather is beautiful, I had a great conversation with my mom this morning, my sister is visiting in a couple of weeks, our good friends are visiting soon there after, we’re headed to India in August…lots to smile about and be thankful for!
S. Season of choice? Spring. The transition from winter to spring is the best. Warmer weather, green grass, spring rain…love it all!
T. Tag 5 People. I love it when bloggers post these kinds of surveys, so with that being said, EVERYONE is tagged!
U. Unknown fact about me? I hate the combination of mint + chocolate. It grosses me out. Yuck!
V. Vegetable? Oh my gosh – I love most vegetables (except peas), especially when roasted. Sweet potatoes, Brussels Sprouts, broccoli, zucchini, peppers, onions, squash – yum!
W. Worst habit? I often forget to close or fully tighten the caps of shampoo/conditioner bottles, body wash, lotion, etc. It’s a bad habit that has caused my husband much angst, so I’m working on it!
X. X-ray or Ultrasound? X-ray at my last dentist’s appointment…?
Y. Your favorite food? Hands down – anything with cheese or chocolate (my mom’s enchiladas, paneer makhani, chocolate everything, etc.).
Z. Zodiac sign? Aquarius. I’m a water baby!
Thanks for the tag, Colleen! Like I said, I love these surveys that make their way around the blog world, so if you have a blog, be sure to join the bandwagon and share your ABCs!
HAPPY FRIDAY!!!!!!!
Your turn – pick one or more of the above questions and share away!

Hi Shashi! Glad you found your way over here. 🙂 PB is definitely one of my favorites too. A close third if you will!
You’re going to think I’m crazy buuuut I am not much of a fan of chocolate desserts! I love bars of chocolate but when it comes to cake/ice cream, I’m vanilla all the way!
WHAT!? You don’t like chocolate desserts?! How can that be!?
Hello fellow aquarian! It was so much fun to read these little tid-bits about you! I hope you are doing well!!
I have the habit of not tightening lids and it really annoys my husband! Actually I think that is the only bad habit I have 😉 where the husband gets to pick on me.
Hi there! How are you doing? I hope all is well with you and your little man! 🙂
How fun. wow never knew you were from Rhode Island.. i love newport. i have a fear of insects too. my favorite food would be mexican, anything with cheese and i’m sold. have a great weekend.
Yep, little Rhodey! Cheese is always major selling point…just say the word and I am there!
I am addicted to Chapstick too! And I love Rhode Island…it’s one of my favorite places. I’ve never been to Pawtucket, must make a trip!
Have a great weekend Parita. Love that picture of you and your sister. Too cute.
There’s not much to see in Pawtucket anymore unfortunately. Newport is beautiful though!
I don’t like the mint and chocolate combination either! I’ve rarely met another person that doesn’t like it, but I just don’t get the thrill.
Loved learning more about you 🙂
I thought I was the only one who couldn’t stand that combo!
You and your sister are so cute! And vegetables… I could never pick a favorite 😉
Thanks, Liz!
Love the combo of peppermint and chocolate… 🙂 I made a batch of olive oil brownies that included mint and hazelnuts. YUM.
I think I’m one of 10 people on the entire plant that doesn’t do the mint+chocolate combo. But you’re brownies sound fabulous!
