Reunited and it feels so good!
Gatorland – my dad’s new favorite place! You wouldn’t know it from this picture (because it was something like take 5), but we were really excited to spend a few hours exploring the park.
Sleeping in on Saturday morning was priceless. And there were no bathrooms to clean, no clothes to wash, no meals to prepare. I missed Vishnu but man was it nice to not have to worry about a thing all weekend long.
Marco’s Pizza – not bad for a chain.
Gatorland was so much fun! I definitely recommend checking it out if you’re ever in Orlando. And yes, my scaredy cat self fed AND touched a turtle. A really big turtle.
Almonds. Covered in dark chocolate. Need I say more.
Spice heaven aka Patel Brothers (an Indian grocery store). It’s funny how I used to despise setting foot in this store because now I actually like it, given there aren’t a million people squished together in the small aisles. Word to the wise – DO NOT go to an Indian grocery store between the hours of 9-3 pm on the weekends.
Sev sar – Indian comfort food.
Bed time reading.
Hope you had a nice weekend!
That looks like a super fun weekend! Turtles I can handle (although I’m not sure how I’d feel about one that was that big), but snakes are a whooooooole other story. Even seeing them through window gives me the heebie jeebies; and if I were to come across one that was that big without a huge sheet of glass separating us? Oh God… I definitely wouldn’t mind coming into contact with those dark chocolate covered almonds, though 😉
what a relaxing weekend with a family. I have never been there but seems like something fun to do 🙂 Woaah that turtle is really big. I would love to try those dark chocolate covered almonds and pizza. I had a pretty chill weekend and ran after sooooo long. Felt good 🙂
That is a BIG turtle! Sounds like such a fun weekend 🙂
Aw, family time is the best! <3
That Sev Sar looks amazing! Do you have a recipe?
What a fun trip to Orlando.. love the Godiva Almond chocolates. I used to hate going to the Indian stores, sometimes I still do, some are so dirty, but the one near my mom’s is nicer. 🙂
What a fun weekend in Orlando. Wish we were there — could have met. We are in LA for a few weeks.
Such cute pictures…love the Patel Brothers store. I think every city has their version. 🙂
Have a fantastic time!
