We Are Here to Love

written by Parita 17 Comments

Hello hello.  Happy Wednesday!  I’m ready for a great lineup on ABC tonight – The Middle and Modern Family anyone!?

So I’ve been away for the past week or so.  My uncle (dad’s older brother) passed away last week, and it affected me quite a bit.  I haven’t had to deal with death in a long time, so this was a reality check…it really does happen.  And it sucks.  A lot.

Quite honestly, my mind has been all over the place.  But my random thoughts always lead me to one thing…we are here to love.  That’s it…simple stuff.  Love your family.  Love your friends.  Love everyone.  And no matter what…just keep loving because that’s why you are here.  I’m 100% certain of this.

And that’s where my [coherent] thoughts end.  However, over the past week I’ve come across a number of messages that have made think, smile, and feel more love than I ever have before.  So, I’ll share those and hope that they do they same for you.

***All of these images were taken from the Purpose Fairy Facebook page.  If you enjoy messages like these, I highly recommend the website.  It’s one of my daily must reads.

Have a wonderful day and please don’t forget to spread the love!

Thinking of you and your family, Parita. No matter how close or not you are to a person, death is never easy to deal with. Unfortunately I have had to deal with 2 major deaths in my life (my grandfather & my dad) and like you said, the only thing you can really take out of it is to keep on loving…and keep letting those who you care about know that you do!

Thank you, K. I’m sorry that you had to deal with death so early on. It’s not easy but loving and remembering make it bearable. 🙂

I’m positive he is in a better place! And you’re so right – after something like this, our hearts should grow and be full of love.

Sometimes when I get frustrated about how I haven’t accomplished what I want to in life yet, I search to judge myself, but then I remember that at the end of the day all that really matters is that we love and that we are good to other people. It’s a very comforting thought. I’m sorry to hear about your uncle. My thoughts are with you.

Well said P. I”m so so so sorry for your loss. Death is not easy no matter what age it comes at. Unfortunately, I’m going thru a similar situation, but I hope it doesn’t go down this path. It is never easy. I’m so sorry. You are right, need to spread the love and just live each day doing things you love. So important. I hope you and your family are getting through this. Stay strong!!!
