When I find something awesome, I have to share. Many of my friends and family members would probably tell you that what I call sharing is in actuality me not shutting up about my new favorite thing. Minor technicalities…
So, today I want to share a full-body circuit workout I found after a bit of Googling. I was quickly finding myself in a strength training rut and just had to try something new.
At first glance, this workout may not look like much, but trust me, my thighs are were on fire for a few days! And if you have a few extra minutes to spare, I would definitely do sixty seconds worth of cardio (jump rope, jumping jacks, high knees, etc.) between each exercise. I was nice and sweaty by the time I finished. And the best part…it’s a full-body strength (and if you take my advice, cardio) workout. You just have to print it out and take it with you. All the work is done for you…almost!
Without further ado, I present to you the FitSugar workout.
To make this a strength + cardio workout, you can do what I do…
WARM UP
60 seconds of cardio
CIRCUIT 1, Exercise 1
60 seconds of cardio
CIRCRUIT 1, Exercise 2
60 seconds of cardio
CIRCUIT 1, Exercise 3
60 seconds of cardio
Rest and repeat one more time before moving on to circuit 2 using the same framework.
Your thighs will be thanking me after a few days!
And if my words aren’t inspiring enough, take a look at this…
What are you waiting for?! Go pump some iron!

As I’ve mentioned before, I’ll be attending my friend’s bachelorette party this weekend, but no worries, there will be plenty to read while I’m gone. I have a couple of really fun guest posts lined up over the next few days, so be sure to stop by and check them out!
Are you a cardio queen/king, iron lady/man, or a bit of both?
I love mixing cardio into my weight routines – it is SUCH a good workout! My favourite is doing 2 minute sprints on the treadmill in between sets.
I’m so loopy sometimes- pl excuse the above comment…I sent it from my work blog :)…here ya go again:
I love workouts which incorporate strength training and cardio in one..double the burn 😉 !! As a former cardio queen, I’m surprisingly leaning more towards weight training in terms of favorites! There’s something about going for the dumbbells that even men in the gym go for that makes me feel kinda bad ass 😉 ! Have an amazing time at the bachelorette!
Hooray for weights! They are my favorite. The workouts on my site use intervals too – they are great for keeping the heart rate up.
Happy Hump Day!
Total cardio queen here. But I’m really trying to sneak more weights in. They really really do help. I’m just sorta lazy… lol
if i had jamie eason’s body…id just waltz around naked
That makes the two of us. 🙂
I would say that I’m 85% cardio queen now, with a mix of iron blood in there. ^^; I used to be extremely (lady)buff though, so I’ve toned down quite a bit.
I actually had to force myself to do MORE cardio because I love strength training so much! Likin’ this workout!
hmm… I’m definitely more into strength training because it makes me feel strong and curvy.. i sorta just do cardio to burn the fat. you can’t really have one without the other.
I am way more into cardio – it’s so easy to just walk/run and zone out! Especially with a TV or destination in mind. Or cell phone in hand!
Weights for sure. I actually enjoy that so much more than cardio and love the feeling of feeling strong.
Excepti for running, I can only really stand cardio in HIIT form or in a class where I actually have no choice but to exercise hahaha. Can’t do the treadmill thing.
