One Year Ago…

By Parita Jan 21, 2012

…I created this little blog!  [You can read my first, very short post here!]

Over the past 365 days, myinnershakti has gone from a fun idea to a full-fledged hobby.  I love sharing my passions with others, connecting in the comments section, and having something that is 100% me.

With words and pictures, I’ve shared bits and pieces about everything that’s important to me.

My family…

Coincidentally, all of the lovely ladies pictured above are my bridesmaids!  I’ll be posting
more about them later!

And my life!

I’m so excited to see what the next 365 days bring.  I can’t wait to share more about all of the above plus the wedding, married life, and all the craziness to come.  I hope you’ll continue to follow along!

And finally, thanks for reading…it really does mean the world to me!

  1. Wishing your blog a very happy birthday :)! Yours is always one of the first I read- love your optimism and overall zest for life! Lolling forward to reading more, P!

    1. Thank you! And I always read yours first too. Over the holidays, I told my mom and sister that the next time I visit India, I am making it a point to see you. 🙂 AND if you ever come to the US, let me know too!!!

  2. Wow! what a great example for following through on your dreams … wishing you the best and more fun in the future. Keep sharing, especially any chocolate-related recipes…yummmm!

  3. Happy blogiversary! It’s funny how one little thing can grow into something much bigger than yourself – a community 🙂 Wow – that was sappy.

Ok, go party hard, down a tequila and celebrate this momentous occasion in style! Looking forward to being part of the journey of the next 365 days with you 🙂

  4. Isn’t it crazy how you start something little and then it grows and grows? That’s how I’ve felt too! Now I can’t imagine NOT blogging! And it’s fun to be able to look at the months that have passed and keep track of everything!
