Book Worm

By Parita Apr 22, 2011

Hi y’all!!  Happy Friday!

So, I’m going to make this quick because look at what was waiting for me in my mailbox when I got home from work…

Woot woot!  I preordered Tina’s book a few weeks ago, and it arrived in the mail today!  I’m already on Chapter 4.  I told you I’m a fast reader!!  But seriously, the simplicity with which this book was written is awesome…it’s not preachy at all.  She just tells her story.  If you’re looking for a fun read on how to maintain a healthy lifestyle in the real world, go get this book!  You won’t be disappointed.

Oh and while I’m at it…I also want to spend part of my night reading this…

I’ve heard phenomenal things about this series, so I’m super excited to really get into this book!  The first few chapters are a bit slow so I’m not hooked yet, but I’m sticking with it because everyone who has read it says they LOVED it!

Yes, I’m staying in on a Friday night, and yes, I will be reading.  Call me a book worm because I can’t imagine a better end to a long, busy, and tiring week.  🙂

What’s on your reading list at the moment?  Any good book recommendations?

Goodnight, y’all!!

  1. Girl with a Dragon Tattoo is SOOOOOOO good!!! The first few chapters are obnoxiously slow, but once you meet Lisbeth, you’ll fly through that book! I read it in 3 days, and that was while I was a Disney World!

  2. I can’t wait to get Tina’s book! And you’re not alone – I enjoy spending Friday nights in with a book too. 😉

Right now Water for Elephants is at the top of my reading list! I’m going to start it as soon as I’m done reading Fried Green Tomatoes at the Whistlestop Cafe.

  3. ohh I haven’t gotten Tina’s book yet but I need to! So excited for her 🙂

I haven’t read the the girl with the dragon tattoo but the movie was quite good and hopefully did the book justice.

I need to get reading something other than blogs. The best book I’ve read recently was Water for Elephants. Hopefully that movie will also live up to it’s roots!

I hope you have a lovely Sunday Parita! 🙂

    1. You took the thoughts right out of my head! I needed to read something other then blogs, so I started with a blogger’s book and worked my way up to The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo. LOL! And I heard Water for Elephants (the movie) was really well-made. 🙂
